Zeffirino Faina (San Venanzo, 9 February 1826 - Perugia, 17 June 1917) was an Italian politician e senator during the XVI legislature of the kingdom of Italy.
Entrepreneur, researcher, innovator, politician and man deeply attached to his homeland. Zeffirino Faina brought new elements to local agriculture by revolutionizing techniques and restoring dignity to farmers, motivating them and making them protagonists. Viticulture had particular interest for Zeffirino, thanks to experience gained in France and the knowledge of the Tuscan model transmitted to him by an illustrious friend, Baron Bettino Ricasoli.
Married in second marriage to the niece of Napoleon and daughter of Maria Bonaparte Valentini, Luciana Bonaparte, Zeffirino Faina was an enlightened figure and still today the families involved in Umbrian agriculture remember him together with his nephew Eugenio.
